5 stars: Very good and friendly player. But can't run in the background. You should be able to minimize its window while you Chromecast a video on a big screen. If you minimize its window it stops playing. You should be able to minimize its window while playing videoclips when you only listen and not watch it.
4 stars: I love the app and have been using it for years even the remote control to my PC. the main problem I have on the phone,its very frustrating when I delete music vlc still thinks it's there and I can't get rid of it from my playlist or albums.. Very frustrating refresh does not update what is available to play.
4 stars: I always come back to vlc, h great app. However, with the latest version (Feb 14, 2022) the browser is non-functional. It just keeps waiting and waiting and waiting to access. I don't know if it ever would, but I run out of patience. When I set my file browser to use VLC by default, I have access. I ended up going back to the APK for the previous version and it works fine. I hope you guys can fix this.
3 stars: When playing a SHOUTcast stream, the playback randomly stops after a while, without touching the pause(and the screen was locked). Also it would be nice if the dancing bars beside the playing track/stream could correspond to the actual audio... When the music ends they're still going through their sequence. They only stop their sequence when pausing the track/stream.
