3 stars: Old issue fixed, new one developed. Currently, verified completed trails do not seem to be working at all. It used to update within a couple hours. Then it was a couple weeks. Now it just does not update at all. It was a fun feature but kind of pointless when it doesn't work.
4 stars: Alltrails is great, but it's lacking the possibility to easily create custom tracks on the phone either beforehand or while doing a trail. Another cool option would be to tell you how far are you from an specific point or checkpoint (usually the end point to see if you need to speed up your pace or not).

4 stars: all trails is an excellent app, easy to use and quite friendly. the trail rating and information is very helpful, especially when trying plan for a family walk, be it seniors or children. I can only talk about the free version. I do not like annual payments and have not purchased the full version. I may purchase a lifetime membership if it was $50.
