5 stars: One of the best parts is the conversational aspects. You start learn how to talk to people in common situations, which is very useful. I love the competition aspect as well. It encourages me to continue. It is very considerate and your time, as you can do it in breaks, for five minutes a day. There is also a huge variety in the languages that you can choose to learn. 10/10 would recommend.
3 stars: I am enjoying the app, but find the constant prompts to upgrade annoying. I'm happy using the free version, I don't want to be asked all the time if I want to pay. Also it is frustrating that you cannot set the starting language to British English. Surely with all the languages they do, Duolingo would know that not everyone speaks American English. Stop being so American centric
5 stars: Very Well Designed and User friendly, I like that you write it in Spanish, then you read the sentence in Spanish and tanslate back to English, and then you choose it from an option of words to make the sentence again. It really reinforces the words and i feel like i am retaining a good bit, and learning quickly. When I do a review the next day I feel like I remember most of what I have previously learned. I love this app!!
