5 stars: I just updated the app. I've made four trips with the update. I haven't noticed any difference, but I'll continue to monitor the new app's performance. I'll comment on any changes I notice. So far, all is good with the updated app. The new app did ask for a id photo, while I wore my mask, so that is one difference.
4 stars: FYI: I didn't realize this for months. When you get a ride or select a location to go to, you are NOT restricted to using only the app for directions. You can select Waze or Google Maps as well. To do so, click on the directions bar (top part that shows your next turns), then look at the bottom of the listing of directions to switch to either Waze or Google Maps.
3 stars: Lately, the app will stop tracking me in navigation. I've been using the uber nav and a few times a day I'll have to force stop the app, mid route, to get it working again. Also, when I'm trying to send a thank you for tips, I'll get to do about 3 or 4 then it freezes. I then have to uninstall and install the app. What's going on with it?
