3 stars: Basic news app style, good enough. Better search than the NYT app. One annoying thing: clicking a link in an article that is for a different LA Times article opens the new one in a web browser rather than in the app.
5 stars: Great and sincere newspaper application. It gives me everything I want to explore about LA. It also shares quite detail information for the reader. I love it! Keep it up LA Times!

3 stars: ability to scroll and magnify articles is great. only real complaint is how much battery power app uses when its closed! i read 2 articles and then closed the app and even an hour later its used 12% of my battery! thats huge. i cant find a way to scale back how much computing power it uses but if i go on a long trip where im away from a charger. im going to straight up delete it. fix this guys!
