4 stars: Latest upgrade has now fixed the issue. Now revised my ratings. Thank you! Just bought a Garmin 56 but it will not pair to app. Same issue as described in other reviews after recent update... no choice of device and simply hangs when trying to find device. This is on a Galaxy S10. Garmin, you need to sort this out fast!
5 stars: App does not work on Samsung 8. I'm able to pair a Dash Cam 56 to the phone but the Drive app cannot find it. Even though the DC 56 says that it's connected to the phone, Garmin Drive app keeps searching for Garmin devices. Edit: Updating the app (4.10.07) and DC 56 firmware (3.40) did solve the problem on Samsung S8 (android 9).
3 stars: Does not find dashcam 56 on pixel 4 w/ android 10. Phone is connect via BT, but the app just searches endlessly for the cam.... Worked on pixel 2 w/ android 8...but file transfer is slow. Faster to just bring card to a computer.
5 stars: This app is an alternative method to inputting places. It is well laid out, but I'll probably just use the device instead. Too many ways to get fines in Oz.
