4 stars: Not bad. The best part about the service is getting access to all the DC comics. This is what makes the entire service. Without that this monthly bill wouldn't be worth it. A must have for huge DC fans. A good look for general comic fans. Could use more of the TV shows that they've made though. Same thing with all the movies. New content is visibly coming, but I hope they also add a pop up player.
3 stars: app works great, but if you're not happy make sure you double check your cancellation. I made the mistake of paying through Google play and cancelling with them directly, and was not even offered a partial refund. I worked in subscriptions for almost 10 years, this is the definition of poor customer service
3 stars: If DC expectes people to pay $8 a month for the service they need to fix the problem with either the app or their servers. Playback stutters and freezes far too often. Have had to exit the app and restart playback multiple times, doesn't make a difference on wifi or LTE. Canceled subscription first time for minimal content, may cancel again because of crappy stream.
3 stars: Im frankly enjoying the original content and love reading the comics. But this isn't cable tv. I don't pay for cable, I pay for streaming services. I don't want to wait for Doom Patrol, or Young Justice to be complete. Give me the content. If you're worried I'll cancel when they're done; why don't I cancel now and wait tell they're finished?
