4 stars: Super convenient once it's set up! it can be a little confusing to get it to read at the register initially, but once the app is all set up it's really handy to have. I can put all my gift card info here instead of keeping cards around and trying to remember to use them, and don't always have to bring my wallet everywhere to make purchases.

3 stars: When it works it is useful not having to dig out a credit card and also that loyalty program cards can also be stored in the app. However, the number of mercants that accept this is quite limited and it only seems to work at those locations about 1/2 of the time.
5 stars: Saved my life earlier when I was buying some bottled water and I told my mom to hold on to my wallet. I am someplace where there was very little English and no way of communicating on the till that I would just go back to the hotel and get it from my mom. Thankfully I remembered that Google Pay was installed on my phone so it saved me from a potential embarrassment! Thanks Google!
