4 stars: This app works well for its purpose. But it could be improved. I often get power usage warnings from Android about it. It also won't work if I have no network access. Considering its cost, there's no good reason for it not to work in these situations.
5 stars: I'm using this to increase my mandarin vocabulary and at the same learning how to read and write. It requires effort, of course, but it actually works. I can recommend using it along with the Mandarin Companion books to practice your vocabulary.
5 stars: Pricey but they deserve it, so far the best app to learn writing Chinese characters and I have seriously tried all of them!
5 stars: There are a few minor bugs (sometimes the handwriting recognition doesn't quite work). But it is an incredible tool.
5 stars: Best way I know of for improving Chinese reading and writing. If you are seriously studying Chinese and you find that your speaking skills surpass your reading and writing, the steep subscription fee is definitely worth it.
