4 stars: Fairly reliable app. My wife had a time period where she had a lot of issues with disconnected calls but I'm not sure if that was the app or her Google Pixel 4a/5G. The issue seems to have gotten better. The biggest issue I have is about a five second delay from the time I answer the phone until the caller can hear me. It's just enough time where they don't hear me answer hello.
3 stars: Often cuts in and out over Wi-Fi. But that may be more of a problem with my Pixel XL which I have to factory reset once or twice a year 😭. It seems they never want to fix this problem, as this been an issue since the first Pixel. \u0026 even the 6P. Otherwise Wi-Fi calling is the only thing that works at my cabin.
4 stars: I like this app very much. The only issue I have with it is that, having a dual SIM phone, I have to choose the SIM card every time I call a number. (I don't want to set a default SIM card for all calls, because I don't use the same SIM for all phone numbers.) I would like to associate a default SIM card to specific phone numbers: this is possible in the Samsung Contacts app but not in the Google Phone app.
3 stars: I love features like Hold for Me, Wi-Fi calling, and spam detection. But, fully half of the time or more, I have a good network connection, yet the phone does not ring. Happens to my son too. Don't know if it's the Phone app, our various Pixel phones, or the Fi service. Though, no escaping that the problem lies with Google.
