3 stars: Google Photos used to be really good. Now it works so badly on Samsung S20. Phone gets incredibly hot loading all the photos, search page is empty half the time and doesn't return any search results. Can't search by faces, places, or things. I suggest the devs to focus more on optimising its core functionality rather than extras like automatic photo collages or animations (which is not why people download this app for).
5 stars: I use this app for organizing my passwords - it's super handy! First, I grab a photo of the Post-it Note sticking to the computer monitor I'm currently working on. Thanks to the awesome OCR, image recognition, Exif tools and smooth Google Maps integration, I can just do a plain text search for either a partial password I almost remember, the location of where I think it was taken or simply scrolling down the Google Lens-compiled list of \
5 stars: It is worth getting Google 1 for the additional features in Photos App. More auto options being added all the time. Unfortunately lots of my files (mov, tif, avi) are not compatible and cannot be processed. Great app for organising and sharing photos and videos. Would be great if you could edit date of Photos from the app, lots of scanned photos from 80s! I have to use the Web page to edit dates.
