5 stars: It doesn't always identify the song, but it often gets common species right. I often use the app to see spectrograms in real time for birds, frogs, and insect calls. The app automatically logs GPS coordinates making it useful for posting audio recordings in eBird or iNaturalist later.
5 stars: Amazing! I am absolutely floored by how well this app can analyze a bird sound even when traffic sounds and other birds nearly drown it out. It's stunning. The app is just a prototype, so the ease-of-use could be improved, but as long as you draw your box over the correct sound, it'll tell you the species. What a great tool for birders! And it's super fun! 😀
5 stars: I've been really impressed with this so far, especially compared to similar apps. It isn't always 100% certain what the bird is, but its best guesses are often correct or very close. The quality of audio it's able to work with is also surprising (lots of background noise where I live, but doesn't seem to be an issue most of the time).
4 stars: This is a great app for identifying and learning bird sounds. I only wish I could replay the sounds later - when I press play, nothing happens.
4 stars: This app is very useful for identifying birds you can't see. Gets it right most of the time and tells you if it's sure about it's answer depending on audio quality. Only thing is you have to get pretty close to the birds as the app isn't perfect at getting all the sounds, but still accurate.
