3 stars: Good except for no option to change default dictionary! Why allow us to buy books in foreign languages, and download foreign language dictionaries, and yet not allow us to change the DEFAULT dictionary. People were asking about this on forums several years ago and yet the problem still hasn't been fixed! Please listen to your customers and fix this long-standing problem.
3 stars: Good app but extremely annoying when you go to a footnote and when you return to the book the pages layout is not correct. You have to go back to the beginning of the chapter for it to realign correctly. It makes me not want to use the footnotes on any book some of which thsts a bulk of the purpose of the book.
5 stars: I've been using this for 7 or 8 years and very happy with it. It's just like reading an actual Kindle. I'd be lost without it. Right now I'm in the hospital after breaking my hip in an accidental fall. I have to go to a rehabilitation center for a couple of weeks. My kindle fire is not even a year old and it is not working correctly. So I have to use my tablet or phone to read. So this app is a lifesaver.
5 stars: I also use the e-reader Oasis. Both are good, but the Kindle cloud app is more robust. I like that i can highlight in different colors. I also NEED to be able to read at the same time as I listen to the Audible out loud. The app allows one to do this, but the e-reader Oasis does not.
