3 stars: For Japanese it really needs furigana. I also think that when using romaji to build words, it should use the correct syllables instead of some english strange spelling. Even better if it actually used Kana. But still I'm exposed to some new words and I like the idea of connecting words with images. Edit: Thanks for the reply, for a 5 star rating a minimum would be the option to replace Romaji with Japanese Kana and Furigana for Kanji.
