4 stars: Great UK and world news coverage plus really good magaziney and opinion pieces, plus some Sudoko. The app is great for downloading everything ready for me and no delays flicking through. Interface for the menus could be a bit clearer but else really good.
5 stars: Clear and informative coverage of current news in an easy to navigate app. Worth the subscription in my view.

5 stars: This is a great app if you want to read a daily newspaper. Not sure why the poor reviews but I have noticed a lot of them say the independent is fake news so there's an agenda there. The independent is most certainly not fake news it is a very established and trusted news outlet which is usually as the title suggests the main news sections are unbiased and independent and cover many angles. Columnists and opinion pieces obviously are less so but that's the nature of columns and opinion pieces. Whatever you think of the reporting it is certainly not fake news. Great app very enjoyable and easy to use. If you want a free app where you don't have to purchase the paper the independent also provided independent live.
