5 stars: I'm in love with the format this app provides for reading through the Bible. While there are some bug fixes to resolve, the checklist like features work fine and are a great way to recall where you left off in the reading. Wanna understand the bible while reading it for yourself? Download this app. Currently the videos fail to play in the app, but are easily found by other means. Unfortunately by pressing the settings button the app shuts down completely. Prayin' for these minor issues to be resolved:)
4 stars: This app is fantastic. I love the integration of the videos from The Bible Project, and the art throughout is a nice touch. The app is beautiful and intuitive, without getting in the way of actually reading the Bible. It helps make Bible reading very engaging. I love the way The Bible Project breaks the Bible down in clear, understandable ways, helping the reader to see the big, unified picture throughout that leads to Jesus. My only frustration with this app is that it does not work offline! That makes it almost useless to me, because I want to read on the bus, when I'm out of wifi range (I don't have mobile data). Please add the ability to read offline! Clearly the videos require a connection, but I don't see why text should. Other Bible reading apps are able to do it.
