4 stars: For the most part I like this app. My only issues are that every couple of weeks all the settings ( time limits, content limits) resort back to some unknown parameters and then I have to reset. Also, last night his location was showing up as over a mile away from where he actually was and he was standing right next to me in our home . This morning it was back to normal, but how weird.
3 stars: App activity doesn't report correctly. For instance, my son's phone will indicate that he used YouTube for 35 minutes, but my phone indicates he only used 2 minutes. As a result, the app time limits don't work. This is the main reason that I wanted to use the app. It would be good to have more granular control over app time limits on a daily basis (i.e. limit YouTube to 30 minutes M-F and 60 minutes Sa-Su).
4 stars: It worked great for a while. Lately it started to lag, giving more time than set. The biggest problem was when I had to reinstall it on my kids phone, it keeps giving messages that something went wrong. I have tried everything but there is no benefit. It is still functional on the other devices though.
3 stars: Pretty good app overall. One feature I need that it does not offer is allowing the child to text the parent anytime of day whether the phone is locked or not.
