4 stars: Excellent app, however recently a bug has cropped up when using my chromecast. I can only watch one episode/movie via chromecast, then I have to disconnect from my chromecast, close the app, and then start the app all over again. I have tried on 2 seperate phones and 2 seperate tablets, and the problem persists.
5 stars: Last few weeks it has been crashing all the time. Cannot play anything anymore. Some bad update must have messed it up. Absolutely love Google Play Movies but I can no longer use it. Luckily Youtube can play the content from Movies so I have a work around but when is this going to be fixed?
4 stars: It's a reasonable app designed for Google Play movies and with good Chromecast abilities. It usually works very well for offline and online viewing. It has great subtitles (sometimes) and great information cards. The only issue I have with this is that the movies on Google Play don't always have subtitles. I consider this a huge issue that Google needs to deal with.
4 stars: After writing a complaint that the content wasn't available, I went to check again and it was there and loaded just as it always had. The purchased content was again available. I'm keeping the review at 4 stars, because this issue should never have happened in the first place, but I'm glad it's working again.
