3 stars: Got it to work, though had to hunt down many settings to do it. Tells you how many unread emails you have, which is great if you systematically read or mark as read every email you get. For those that ignore some emails on the basis of subject, it would be much more useful to be given a count of new, rather than unread, emails - everything more recent than the last read email, or everything more recent than the last time the user looked at their email, something like that. It would also be handy to get a count on the number of emails that are new/unread and have a particular label. With its current functionality it's doing something through the launcher that otherwise gets done through a widget, which is fine but not special. It needs something extra to be more than just OK.
4 stars: Huawei Honor Note 8. This app has started showing phantom message counts in chomp sms. Can't get to the bottom off it. About to uninstall and reinstall. Really getting on my nerves. Keeps doing it regularly now. Any ideas? *edit* unread messages where in default messaging app. Also doesn't always show unread badges on other apps e.g.emails. sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't?
4 stars: Works well mainly, but since last update it incorrectly shows 1 unread for SMS and I cannot rectify this. I have been through the configuration and rebooted, and reinstalled several times.
