5 stars: Great deals and customer service! Had a problem with booking for the next day instead of the same day hotel I needed. It was a non refundable rate and I thought I was going to lose my full payment. I went skiing the next day and checked my app and they refunded in agoda cash. At first I thought the customer service was no good. They totally came through in the end. The prices on this app are usually Unbeatable
3 stars: At times the prices can be higher than actual walk-in or direct booking, but it's convenient. Always check your e-mail once booking is done, I have been double charged by the app glitching causing double bookings. Also make sure your booking dates are accurate, for some reason you are able to book rooms for the previous day (yesterday's date).
3 stars: Agoda contains some listings which are managed by different vendors. I happened to book one such property and had to spent rest of that day talking to the customer care for a refund as the property owner did not get the confirmation. The problem, the booking was actually routed through Expedia. Customer should know this before booking a listing to avoid such events. Something for the product team to add to the backlog.
