3 stars: So many notifications. It's a chore to sort the proverbial wheat from the chaff. I was hoping to get occasional updates on major stories, instead I get notifications whenever some b-list celebrity runs their mouth or neighbor's dog farts. I like the local angle but it's a bit much.
4 stars: Excellent app for local news. Safety map is a great feature, I just wish that it would show vehicular accidents as well as crime. Also I would like to be able to set simple viewing mode as the preferential standard

Only wanted app for local news and big stories but some of the the 'stories' are obviously sponsored (eg ITV program scandals that are not scandalous at all but merely promote the times of the programs). It has some merit though and you have no requirement to subscribe to the many resources it gets it stories from. J. NI
