5 stars: Detailed settings are tricky but do enable you to make it do exactly what you want. I have used it for years and am still happy. My only suggestion would be to look at battery drain. It seems that once it has been opened it continues to use power in background unless you force it to stop. Android cannot be allowed to put it to sleep as this stops it when you are listening.
4 stars: Very powerful app....but can be overkill or confusing to operate if you don't (yet?) need/use all its features. But when using it, it gets the job done and has been rock solid. 5 stars: So far, so good. It's my first podcast app. Chose it based on the 1 star reviews. They didn't seem to reveal ongoing issues. I'm currently listening to my podcasts in the morning, and discovered a free audio book from an author I like. So, I listen to the book in the evenings which ultimately lull me to sleep. Overall, I'm pleased with the app and its functionality.
