5 stars: This is my default browser. I like it a lot. Please make better download notifications. When I click a link that downloads a PDF, nothing happens. Also, please add folders to bookmarks. Finally, the widget isnt useful since it just opens the browser. Why do you show a text field in the widget if you cant even type in it, since it just opens the browser? Thank you!
4 stars: The browser itself is good. Shows all the invasions it stopped. I haven't had any sites not working so far but then i haven't visited any complex/transactional sites yet. The search itself is way behind Bing, which in turn is a bit behind Google. And there is no way to change the default search engine. When quality of search results is important, navigate to the Google site.
4 stars: Love the privacy, but hate all the resulting cookie warnings. It doesn't find as much as Google but I prefer DDG for 95% of my searches. Seems a little slower than Google, but I am old enough to remember a time in my life when time wasn't measured by the nanosecond, so it's not a deal breaker. DDG is a sturdy and functional search tool.
