2 stars: SmartNews: Trusted News & Breaking News Headlines apk download - I have tried several news apps. I have been using Smart News for several months. However they have now started inserting advertisements designed to resemble standard news stories. I am uninstalling ASAP. Updated. Thank you for the information. I would gladly pay a subscription for an advertisement free version of Smart News. I will be checking the Play store often to learn if a paid version is offered in the future.
4 stars: - I've been using this app for a number of years on different phones, and it is my primary news app on my Galaxy S8 Plus. It covers many selectable news categories, (e.g. US, World, Sports, Tech, Lifestyle, Science, Finance, etc.), and has added Local, which covers major cities. To come hopefully, a method to incorporate local news for those of us not living in a major city. Perhaps getting local news by entering a zip code, etc. The app has a great design and user interface.
4 stars: - It's excellent and runs smoothly. Like how you can swap with the view from web and smart. What I don't like is how you view the multiple sources. Get tired of flipping through multiple tabs.
3 stars: - Nothing smart about this app. Just gives you several sources which may be biased in either direction. Fox News and CNN are not smart.
