4 stars: It gives a good range of subject matter. One shortcoming is that you cannot search (at least) the headlines. Quite often there's an article I didn't have time to read at the moment, but scrolling back through the articles is nearly impossible, and usually drop off after about 36 hrs (I'm guessing at the time frame here), meaning the article is \
3 stars: The content is comprehensive, but the pop-up ads make it absolutely impossible to scroll and read any of the news without an ad constantly opening the browser, even if you don't click on the ad. I understand the need to for sponsorship to make the app free for users, but this particular platform is annoying to the point that I don't want to use the app. I'll probably delete if this isn't fixed.
3 stars: I use this app all the time. Hard to find a downside so i won't. Edit: 2020 dec. Like a relationship smart news is taking advantage. Full page timed adds has made me re-evaluate. I'm glad the advertising has approached reasonable levels again. This app is for me amazingly informative. Appreciate the hard work. Back to the full page ads again. When they show up i immediately close the app. So annoying....
