5 stars: My first experience with the SimpliSafe was when I set off a door contact. My, what a loud noise! I received a call almost immediately. I ran into my home, grabbed my phone and did exactly what the operator told me to do to turn the alarm off. It was simple. Now I know to turn everything off when I go into my outbuildings.
4 stars: I am a long time user of SimpliSafe, 10 years plus, and just recently upgraded my system. Upgrades are significant and I am very pleased with the new upgrade. Did have issues with old system with base station reception but does not see any issues with the upgraded equipment. Their customer service has been excellent. Easy install and reasonable cost and service fee.
3 stars: New version of app doesn't work half of the time. Have to constantly save app feature settings to get continuous push notifications. Not worth the effort. Time to move on to a real security system that works like it is supposed to. 3 years of constant problems is enough. Will not recommend to anyone because it's just not quality stuff.
