4 stars: Overall great but still in need of total app usage limit by category, either by user set categories or preset categories ie. games, web browsing and youtube and the option to exclude certain essential apps from the total time limit ie. phone, sms, calendar, clock so they are available all the time. Please add the functionality to automatically assign a limit to newly installed apps. Google play also should be available for blocking.
4 stars: Good concept but still not complete in ease of use. My main issue that Google Play Games cannot be used under child acounts that are set up to use Family Link. This is a major disappointment as there are several games my kid uses that require Google Play Games. I do like some of the new enhancements like bonus time though. My main complaint still hasn't been addressed bit I'll up my star rating for the enhancements.
5 stars: So far, so good. Does what I want it to. Open the app and I can see my child's location. I can choose which types of apps can be installed. I can see which apps get the most use. This isn't 'police your children' software, this is 'see what your kid's up to' software. It's like a baby monitor for your children's digital experience. Just enough parental supervision for us.
