4 stars: Overall the app is fine but if you want to block someone it doesn't work. I have tried to block an old boyfriend from my phone but IT STILL SENDS notifications and previews of the texts to my phone. I have to see them and delete them. If I open the app it doesn't show on my main screen. But what's the point of blocking someone if you still get the d**m text notifications??
3 stars: I'm a fan of Google products, however Messages is slightly disappointing because of the fact that we cannot schedule text messages. Pulse and Textra allow it and have upwards of 1 million downloads. Samsung does it right out of the box. I shouldn't have to download a third party app to accomplish something Google should build into their products.
3 stars: I like the app but there is one feature that is a problem for me. I like there to be a sound when I type a message. Within this app you can turn it on and off along with making the volume 0% to 100%. The problem is no matter what % you choose, it's all the same loudness and it's too loud. This feature needs to be able to work so you can have a clicking sound when you type but not drive you crazy.
