5 stars: Google photos saved my life. Not so long ago I downloaded it, and totally forgot it existed. 2 weeks ago my SD card died on me and I thought I had lost all my pictures from the last 2 years. I was supper bummed out. Then I found this app, and was like. Good, thanks for reminding me of all I had lost. I opened it and there they were. All my photos saved. So yep. Now I back them up once every week or so, so I don't lose them ever again.
5 stars: Every phone I get, this is one of the first apps I install if it doesn't already come with the phone. This app makes viewing and editing photos the best experience possible. It has great performance and it's an overall very smooth experience. If I could request one thing, I would ask for more sorting options; for example, by file name.
5 stars: Really fast, convenient, and easy way to save, group, and manage those photos you love most without costing you a penny while helping your phone remain clutter free since the app uploads your photos to give you more space on your phone. Great to use if you find your phone freezing up on you and your low on avail space.
4 stars: Not sure if a recent update has upset the app. Whilst it has everything for my relatively basic needs, it has suddenly seemed prone to regularly freezing whilst scrolling through photos. Have tried clearing the cache. Only way to fix is to close app completely and restart. Using a Pixel 2 XL. Other than the freezing issue the app is great.
