4 stars: I have the pro version and I think it's really a good digital photo frame. Lots of option available for photo source, effects, and features. I believe there are more then enough options to make average user happy. However, I ran into a problem that it will stop shuffling through the photos in Google photos. It will just repeat the same photo after about 5 minutes. Hope this can be resolve in future updates.
5 stars: This is one of those rare excellent apps that you never knew you needed but will take you by surprise and change your home life! It's one of the very few of its kind that supports local network sources (e.g. on your NAS). 5 stars: Nice looking app, easy to work with. Sadly the current (new) integration with Google photos means it's unusable as a cloud based frame. I sincerely hope the dev resolves the throttling issue with google as until recently it has performed well on a variety of older tablets and been an app I've been happy to recommend.
