3 stars: Useless since last update. Any attemptt logging in simply met with 'server error'. Messaged customer service, who told me to shake my phone to send an error report, which I'd already said doesn't work for me after which they didn't get back to me. Uninstalled. EDIT: Working again now mysteriously. The app is still only average however.
5 stars: Ideal for aspiring polyglots as there are over twelve different languages on this app. I quit Netflix so I could devote more time to this! I definitely prefer the app to using the website, simply for the convenience of learning for short spurts whilst commuting. The distraction I give myself by opening multiple tabs and not actually focusing on the website is also not a problem with the app! Highly recommended
4 stars: Great language learning app! I love the enjoyment this application has brought to me. I love this natural way of language exposure. However, I personally think, FluentU is very useful for learning words in context, but not so helpful with grammar rules. I want to give 5 starts, but there are quite a few mistakes with Japanese pronunciation. So 4 stars.
4 stars: It's a great app and I would buy the full version if it were more realistically priced. I wonder if it's aimed at language teachers who can use it as a useful tool for teaching, then the price would make sense, but someone like me who will dip in once or twice a week it's hard to justify the hefty price tag.
