5 stars: Previous problem fixed with latest version thanks. back to 5 stars again ..... This version offers connecting to Spotify as an option in the Music settings menu but does not go any further when 'selected'. I have 3 echos around the house and now cannot listen to music on all three as it will not recognise the group. Have to give a voice command to each speaker to be able to play spotify, hence only one speaker at a time.
3 stars: When the app doesnt freeze on you, this app can be useful when paired with you Amazon Alexa device. I will say that some features of your Alexa requires you to use the app to tweek the settings, which can be frustrating when the app has frozen, and you've gone through the motions of clearing the cache and data, force stopping the app, and then uninstalling and reinstalling.
3 stars: Almost every time I open the Alexa app, it just keeps loading and loading. Half the time, it doesn't matter what I TRY to do, it doesn't help at all. Uninstall and reinstall. Reset my phone. Throw on airplane mode, restart phone, and turn off airplane mode. Very irritating. And I'm a decently patient person.
3 stars: updated 9 Jurn 19: Worked it out. uninstalled, switched off phone not just restart. Reinstalled. when I want to browse music o need to use the music app and cast it to Alexa. This app seems to have stopped controlling music choice for me, but I have a work around for the present
