4 stars: Pros: The security is very reassuring. The vendor never sees my actual card information. This is especially handy at out-of-town locations where you may not fully trust vendor systems, like gas stations or vending machines. Cons: Not all cards can be used in Google Pay. most debit cards seem to be this way. I have also had a couple of credit cards refused by the app. Check with your catd provider.
3 stars: I like it except one big part that seems odd its not there. On the main screen you can scroll through your cards to pick one but there is no labeling like the cards nickname displayed and you can't change the card image. I got a few cards from the same bank. yes they display the last 4 numbers of the card and you set one as default but the images are the same. Mostly it just feels like its incomplete
5 stars: forgot my wallet at home, I went to the store and once I got to the checkout, I realized I had forgotten my wallet at home. Panic mode was setting in, and then I realized I had Google Pay on my phone. I wasn't sure it would work, but low and behold... IT WORKED!! Saved me from looking like a fool.. Thanks Google Pay!!
