5 stars: Merlin is fabulous. I can't imagine giving it less than 5 stars. I'm a traveler (full-time RVer) and it tells me what birds to expect on any day and place, identifies birds from my photos, tells me all about the bird including sounds--all with the greatest of ease. I don't even need a wifi connection!
3 stars: I loved it until the last update. Tried to add a bird pack for the county I was visiting and got error messages. Contacted tech support, followed their suggestions, and it still doesn't work. Now I have no bird packs and can't use the app. Loved it, but now can't use it. Deleting.
