5 stars: Seems to be the only app of this kind that is actually free. The 5 or 6 others I tried were free until you need to actually do something useful with the data (like export a shapefile), then they hold your data hostage for a fee.

5 stars: A fantastic GIS app. I use it for archaeological recording and connect a CPOS GPS for cm accuracy, it works like a dream. It beats anything else out there, even expensive ESRI software.
4 stars: Great app so far! I cant seem to get shapefiles working I add to the maps folder ? They wont appear, kmz file are ok. Any ideas?
