3 stars: The gym is great. The app has a serious problem: opening it often causes my phones screen to turn off. Turning my screen on again, the app is still open, so my screen shuts off again in approx 1 second. The only way of getting around it was to be quick enough to close the app before the screen goes dark. The guy trying to check me in said lots of people had this problem.
3 stars: Recently, when I look at class schedules, if I look at a Tuesday it shows the previous day. So Tuesday shows Monday, Wednesday shows classes for Tuesday, etc.
3 stars: Good app, and glad they fixed calendar export, however the app asks me to turn on location services (with wifi) every time I open the app or go to the app's homepage. I don't see the need to have this app know or track my location. Many others provide the option to manually input a zip code or just select the gyms you want in your favorites - it's not a long list. As it is, it's very frustrating to get a pop-up repeatedly asking for my location at every turn in this app. Otherwise, works well and is fir for purpose.
3 stars: I dont understand how they havent ported over the headstrong meditation podcasts to the android app. Theres no way for android users to listen to them. Its very unfair
3 stars: With the most recent update equinox has fixed the export to calendar function. Thankfully you can do more than just look for classes and login with the app now. Hopefully there will be more significant updates ...
