5 stars: This app needs a network connection ( wi-fi or data) to work efficiently. If your car is parked outside beyond your wi-fi range and your data is turned off you will get an error message. After paying and going to the parts store, the Cadillac repair service shop, and regular car shop ($90 service check) this device did more than what I had paid for. It diagnosed issues fast and accurate. Wish would have had it much earlier. Strongly suggest.
5 stars: FOR EVERYONE HAVING TROUBLE: Try going to settings and putting it in Classic Bluetooth mode. I tried EVERYTHING I could find online on how to make it work, and found nothing helpful. But that's all I had to do. Took me a while, but it works and I'm satisfied with my purchase. It's really handy.
