4 stars: Th app works great now, but the 590W camera definitely needs a faster wifi radio. When trying to watch a video, it spends more time buffering than playing, resulting in a choppy, unwatchable video. Remote update feature is nice.
4 stars: The app refresh is good much easier to understand layout. But lack of auto cut off function. Even my lousy DVR previously have it. It would be good to include such as battery below certain voltage or after x hours to switch off the camera. This has cause me to jumpstart car. Never have that 3 years with my free lousy DVR before.
4 stars: June 2020 With the current upgrades of the app is is working better! I appreciate that Blackvue did an update to make things better. Edit Sept 2019 Connecting is always frustrating. Trying to use wifi to get data off dashcam is frustrating and does not work half the time. Taking the memory card out and using a computer is why I paid to get the wifi connect option. Blackvue needs to make this easier
