3 stars: Like others, this is stuck on the update. It wants to update, but won't do anything. Freshly factory reset Google pixel 3a, Android 10. Reset was a full reset, I didn't import or restore anything from my previous phone or backup from Google. I am sure eventually it will be fixed. Tbh, I didn't even know what this does anyway, so not overly concerned.
5 stars: Great system app! Make sure it's always up to date.. When my phone was acting strange and started cking all apps this was for some reason disabled? Once I fixed that, phone problems completely stopped.
3 stars: I too have a Pixel 2 and experienced the same problem as other recent reviewers when trying to install the update for this application and for Chrome. It is easily solved. Go to Settings/Applications/Google Playstore/Storage and there clear Data and Cache. Both now update without the unable to install problems.
5 stars: For those who can't install/update this. Uninstall/disable the Google Chrome browser THEN update this Android System Webview after that reinstall your Google Chrome. Just backup all your stuff before uninstalling/disabling Google Chrome if you have things in there you want to keep.
