5 stars: I have used FairEmail for 6 months on Android, much better than the Outlook for Android I had used for years. The support by FairEmail is super, I have needed help twice and they respond quickly and with the answer. I have huge # of folders and saved and sorted emails and FairEmail handles them with ease.
4 stars: Still have it on my Chromebook but had to remove it from my Google phone because no matter what I did I couldn't get it to communicate with my FitBit. Little more difficult to use but does have a lot of setup features over other email clients.
5 stars: This is, far and away the best, most intuitive independent email app I have used. Six stars!
5 stars: I've used FairEmail for a few months now and have been very impressed by it's ease of use yet highly granular settings. I love that it assumes that all incoming email may put your privacy at risk and allows you to adjust those settings by sender. Of course, open source is a huge boon as well. If you're a fan of privacy give this email client a try. I liked it enough to buy the 'pro' version. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
