3 stars: No night mode is very frustrating for someone who drives mostly at night. I drive Uber as well, and b/c of this, I keep Uber on top instead of Lyft and will accept an Uber ride over a Lyft. I understand there is a night mode, but you have to set your phone on dark theme. I don't have a dark theme setting on my phone, so a toggle switch would be great so I didn't have a glaring white screen blinding me at 1:00am.
4 stars: As far as GPS apps go the Lyft app is very good with one exception. At the end of the directions when it starts to indicate the pick up address, it gives a range of addresses. For example: 1000-1400 Main St. A range of addresses is no good to me whatsoever. What I need is the actual ending address somewhere on the screen all the time so I know exactly what I am looking for. If you could fix this on the app it would be wonderful.
4 stars: The app isn't really that bad once you get used to it, except for the navigator's algorithm, and a few tweaks, the app is promising, the company is decent (I think), and i will re-write the review in another 6 months.... It is now one year later and there have been improvements. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because navigation is still in its infancy, but all in all, good company to work with, and generally respectful riders.
