5 stars: I like this app as it encourages me to explore new experiences which I can easily share with others. I also enjoy that I can go back and revisit many of the walks - I use viewranger as a comprehensive log of my walks, with notes, pictures and observations. It's also great to have ratings and feedback from others.
3 stars: The app is good overall, has better functionality than the OS maps app, but could be a lot easier to use for the price. It is particularly good to be able to purchase and use Harveys maps. Various features are hard to find and plotting routes is glitchy on my phone.
5 stars: Update: I downloaded VR recently after my previous review and 2 star rating from 2018. Things seems to be working normally now and I am happy to see POIs now sync with my account, as well. It would be nice if POIs could be viewed on a map when logged into my account on a PC maybe that will come later. Glad to see things back to working normally and glad to have VR back as my primary tracking app.
