5 stars: Great app! It's very minimalistic and the small test in each lesson really helps with memory! i love how we can go back and correct mistakes too and it doesnt give you a score. scores tend to bother me if it's not 10/10 and it kind of weighs down motivation. I recommend this app! better than duolingo!! I learned all hiragana prior to finding this app but i learned all katakana in 1-2 days! give it a try yall
4 stars: Overall a good app, to the point that I bought bunpo plus. However, some basic features are missing that really hurt the usefulness. 1. When learning a lesson, there will be audio for each answer. However, when reviewing, that audio is missing for some reason, which makes it much harder to study. 2. Also, while the review feature is handy, there is no option to just test an individual section (i.e. trying to study hiragana or katakana).
4 stars: I have to point out that there's a big problem about the audio playing. Since I updated the app to the latest version, all the audio files cannot be played under WiFi situation. I have to turn on cellular network to let the audio stuff work as before. I paid for the app btw. Membership here wants an explanation. Hope this will be fixed ASAP. Thank you!
