4 stars: I truly like this app, it isn't often that the public gets to actually see how satellite's work and get a clear understanding of how they operate so far into space
5 stars: Love this app, been using it since 2012 and its been a great app. Only problem is that some parts of the world including Shanghai, Moscow, and Dubai arent 3D. Everytime I try to fix it by turning off and on 3D buildings, is it because their goverments dont want their cities 3D? Whats up with that?
3 stars: Since the latest 'update' the app will no longer display 3D models of buildings. In 3D mode, all I get is a foreshortened view of the satellite image. Terrain (eg mountains) still renders fine in 3D, I have plenty of memory. There is nothing about this in the app settings. I have tried everything I can think of, no result. It used to work fine, so I can only assume this is a deliberate downgrade. Any ideas, Google?
5 stars: Great app! Zoom feature works wonderful but Streetview must be reserved for the web app versus the standalone app, it has yet to show me a street level view. I like the fact known and named ocean seamounts are identified. True north isn't maintained when grabbing and rolling the globe to see a different area.
3 stars: This Google Earth app may have errors that would cause it to crash about 15 to 20 minutes later after I open it. The software that helps it to stay open for a long time may be too outdated that have bugs in it that would cause it to crash, and th...
