5 stars: Love the Google home minis. I have 3 installed with 1 that I haven't decided where to put. Use them all the time for alarms, reminders, weather, looking up info on the internet, making phone calls, music, etc. I wish that it was easier to change room name and location though. Need to change two; too complicated.
4 stars: This is great, as long as you NEVER set up
3 stars: Still super glitchy, many bugs, connectivity issues, lack of control over many finer operations, crashes, lacking in information/control within many settings/options of various functions. The media function in particular, has huge gaps in functionality. More useful, easier to read ranking/description later, when I'm caffeinated.
3 stars: Why is it every time there's an upgrade useful tools are removed? I use my bedtime routine to play music that helps me relax and fall asleep. Before the latest upgrade I had my Google Mini turn off after 30 minutes. Now I have to tell my speaker to turn off after 30 minutes. Not the end of the world, but just a nuisance to give it another command to shut down. Bring back the sleep timer please.
2 stars: Worked great until last update. Now my Nest mini appears as offline even though it is connected to wifi and takes voice commands. I have tried doing hard reset on my router, factory reset on the devices, linking and unlinking, clearing app cache, uninstalling and reinstalling. No change. What's the point of having multiple Google devices if they won'...
