3 stars: App is OK - I haven't had the issues other people are reporting. However, I agree with the comments about the new widgets - they're ugly. The old widgets (at least the 2x1 version I use) could be set so the background was clear and blended in with my phone's screen. Not so with the new widgets - turning off background still leaves a solid background that just ends up looking like a clunky square box. Ugly.
3 stars: I've been using this app for years on my LG G6 and it's been good. The weather was always accurate and the little videos were nice too. But since yesterday, whenever I open the app, it just crashes and a pop-up comes and says 'Weather Network keeps stopping'. Please fix this!
5 stars: It was great as I am able to check the forecast where I am, but also the forecast where I'm heading to in the province. This means travelling without worries. I can also convince friends to visit--or at least I could convince them before the pandemic.
5 stars: Suddenly crashing constantly. I clear snow, my life revolves around this app. EDIT: As per usual, it's Google that sucks. Found a workaround. Didn't update webview, but rather uninstalled all updates. Back to normal. Sorry guys, changing to 5 stars!
3 stars: Seems to be functioning properly once more with latest update. Loses stars for excessive ads causing the app to be slow and ugly (no, I will not upgrade to premium, that sounds like a waste of money if other reviews are sccurate).
