3 stars: Pro: ability to view camera images on smartphone. Con: takes time when connecting via Bluetooth or wifi. It is not always successful in the first try.
3 stars: So we can't connect with our mobiles while outside via Bluetooth? Eg: Nearest WiFi is 2 miles away, and it keeps trying to connect via WiFi. SMH EOS 200D on HONOR 20
3 stars: Being able to easily batch-transfer photos from my camera to my phone so that I can then upload them to a family-only album application is incredibly convenient. However, the date stamp on the transferred photos always gets changed for some reason, making it hard to keep my photos arranged by month (not to mention videos, which get their date changed to the date of transfer).
5 stars: My camera (PowerShot ELPH190IS) is refusing to connect to my phone and I don't know why. it says 'start dedicated app on device' on my camera when canon camera connect is open and stays at that screen. Edit: It has started working again! Just had to hit Add Device on my camera and make a duplicate of my phone name.
4 stars: The app is amazing BUT I wish it would work for recording videos on T6i. I hope canon someday will be able to provide this option.
3 stars: In low light, disreguards ISO set in Program mode on camera (G7 x) and adjusts it up automatically so that exposure is less than 1/30s, while I actually aim at low ISO and long exposures. Effectively blocks me from using the full camera capabilities in low light. Does not have that...
