3 stars: Overall good design and content. However it does not let you download articles for offline reading (such as in subway/metro, airplane). Also hard to navigate to certain writers / sections
5 stars: Love the app but had to disable notifications for breaking news as they are being abused by the publisher. Fires that have been burning for days in CA being driven by wind is not 'breaking news'. If your smoke alarm goes off 20 times a day, everyday, it ceases to be useful.
4 stars: Great but newsworthy items are competitive-in the sense that news gets old in the span of a few hours. I feel it is only the delivery of the contents that generate further interest. The Business news is fine in the sense it is all consolidated on one section and is clear and concise
3 stars: Slightly frustrating experience - it replicates in the background but many articles still aren't available offline. Every couple of days it also wants me to log into my account again - if I'm offline then, bad luck! given that I mostly have time to read the WSJ while offline, I go many days without being able to read the newspaper I've paid for. I'm still using it but it clearly could be improved.
