4 stars: When it works, it's great. I love using maps. I don't like the recent redesign because it takes 4 clicks to call someone, which seems dangerous. Seems to be some bugs between the app and my Subaru sometimes. It's inconsistent, so hard to peg the source.
3 stars: I like Android Auto. When it works, it enhances the stock entertainment system in my truck. The problem is that its very flakey. Getting it to connect is hit or miss, which I find very frustrating. I've tried several different USB cables and two different phones.
4 stars: It's useful for driving but sometimes have to switch out to Spotify as it has limited functionality for music integration. Still very useful and has proven its use. Main annoyance is I have it set to boot up when it connects to a USB dongle, even if it's running, the app restarts should the dongle restart for any reason.
5 stars: Very good app. Great interface (better than Apple car play now), great support from its developers at Google, and simple to use. Perfect! Couldn't be happier with it. Keep it up!
5 stars: Works well, the integration is pretty flawless.. my only gripe is neither Waze or Maps changes to night mode even though it's enabled on my phone.. otherwise it does exactly what it's supposed to do.. as a follow-up with Samsung phones when dark mode is turned on, Waze and Google maps will be dark on the vehicle also!👍
