5 stars: Every time it comes up, I consider other podcast apps. Every time, I choose Podcast Addict. It meets all of my needs, and performs flawlessly. I especially love the fact that I can download podcasts to my external card for playback when I'm offline and away from service. I've made it my player for most audio on my phone. Thanks!
4 stars: The options can feel a bit overwhelming at first. You eventually get used to it. I'd recommend turning on the sleep timer in the settings or to close the playback notification if you're done listening to prevent it from draining your battery in the background. Overall, the app works well. There's also a car layout for the playback controls.
4 stars: This is the best podcast app I have ever used on Android, it has A LOT of options. The only complain I have is that the app doesn't offer a light theme option. And... the UI. It looks outdated and kinda ugly, like it's from Android 4: the episode cards, the action icons location, the actions prompt, the sidebar menu (instead of bottom navigation), it doesn't match the modern design of almost any other app out there.
